The last place we visited in our Chumphon trip was different than the others we had done so far. It was not a school  in traditional sense but rather a school to train future teacher. I received information from my tennis coach that Thailand National Sports University Chumphon Campus, a government body to train future teachers in sports, was restarting its tennis academy after 4 years due to Covid 19 as well as lack of funding. However, there was a need for tennis related equipment such as rackets, balls, and shoes so that the students can learn tennis properly. These students would later graduated to be teachers in the future so we felt that it was important to help out. 

In this trip, we were very fortunate to receive tremendous support from our tennis lover friends as well as my tennis coach. There were over 50 tennis rackets and hundreds of used tennis balls donated to us for the tennis academy.  It would be very expensive to try to buy new ones to donate especially tennis rackets. Thank you for all the supports. We really appreciate your kindness.

สถานที่สุดท้ายในจังหวัดชุมพรที่ได้มีโอกาสเข้าไปช่วยไม่ได้เป็นโรงเรียนเหมือนที่เราเคยทำมา แต่เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยการกีฬาแห่งชาติ วิทยาเขตชุมพร เนื่องจากผมได้รับข้อมูลจากทางโค๊ชเทนนิสผมเองว่าที่นี่กำลังจัดต้ังคณะสอนเทนนิสกันใหม่ หลังจากที่หยุดสอนเทนนิสไปเกือบสี่ปี เพราะสถานการณ์โควิด 19 ประกอบกับเรื่องงบประมาณ แต่ยังขาดแคลนอุปกรณ์เทนนิส อาทิเช่น ไม้และลูกเทนนิส เพื่อให้พี่ๆนักศึกษาในมหาลัยแห่งนี้ได้เรียนทักษะการเล่นเทนนิส ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่ก็จะเป็นครูพละหรือโค๊ชนักกีฬาอีกทีในอนาคต ทางโครงการของเราจึงเห็นความสำคัญของการเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้ เพราะเป็นการสอนผู้ที่จะเป็นครูต่อไปในอนาคตอีกที

ในการช่วยอุปกรณ์เทนนิสครั้งนี้ ทางเราได้รับบริจาคมากมาย เราได้รับไม้เทนนิสกว่า 50 ไม้ ลูกเทนนิสอีกเป็นร้อยๆลูก แม้หลายๆอย่างจะเป็นอุปกรณ์มือสองแต่หลายชิ้นสถาพเหมือนใหม่ ขอบคุณทุกท่านที่ได้ร่วมช่วยบริจาคอุปกรณ์เทนนิสเหล่านี้มาครับ
