Our second trip began during my mid term break from October 10th to 16th. This trip we headed down south to Chumphon. The first school we got to visited was Wat Pichaiyaram School. The school was about 500 kilometers or about 6 hours drive from Bangkok. We arrived in Chumphon on the evening of Tuesday, October 11th and were warmly welcomed by Principle Yuenyong Desamut and teachers at 9am the next day.  There were also over 80 students from 7th and 8th Grades waited to meet us.  We felt very blessed to see them even though it was during their school break.  We also learnt that the campus of the school needed  a major renovation because space was very limited. With 654 students currently enrolled, the school took away some of the sport spaces, like basketball court, and turned them to classrooms. However, with a new classroom building being in construction at the moment, the school planned to convert back the sport spaces back in the near future.

สำหรับทริปที่สองของเราในครั้งนี้ เราเบนเข็มทิศไปทางใต้เพื่อหาโรงเรียนที่ต้องการความช่วยเหลือ และก็ได้ลงเอยที่จังหวัดชุมพรในช่วงกลางเดือนตุลาคมซึ่งเป็นช่วงปิดเทอมกลางภาคของผมพอดี โรงเรียนที่เราโชคดีได้เข้าไปมีส่วนช่วยเหลือในครั้งนี้ เริ่มต้นที่โรงเรียนวัดพิชัยยาราม ซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากกรุงเทพประมาณ 500 กิโลเมตร ในการเดินทางครั้งนี้เราเดินทางด้วยรถยนต์ซึ่งใช้เวลา 6 ชั่วโมงทำให้เราเดินทางไปถึงตอนค่ำและได้ทำการเข้ามอบกับ ท่านผ.อ. ยืนยงค์ ดีสมุทรคณะครูและเพื่อนๆนักเรียนในรุ่งเช้าของอีกวันหนึ่ง แม้วันที่เราเดินทางไปถึงจะเป็นเช้าของวันที่ 12 ซึ่งยังอยู่ในระหว่างปิดเทอม แต่เราก็ยังโชคดีที่ได้เจอเพื่อนๆเด็กนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมกว่า 80 คนที่มาคอยต้อนเราพวกเราต้ังแต่แปดโมงเช้า เสียดายที่พื้นที่ลานกีฬา บางแห่งต้องถูกใช้ในการเรียนเพราะทางโรงเรียนกำลังทำการก่อสร้างอาคารหลังใหม่อยู่เพราะห้องในการสอนไม่พอ ทางท่านผ.อ.บอกพวกเราว่าปีหน้าเมื่ออาคารใหม่เสร็จ ทางโรงเรียนจะคืนพื้นที่ออกกำลังกายให้กับนักเรียน...  อยากให้อาคารใหม่เสร็จเร็วๆจะได้มีที่ออกกำลังกายกัน
