School No. 3

Ban Phudin School is Follow Thru last school for our first trip.   A group of teachers and Mr. Chareonsorn, The Principle of the school, came out to greeted us and invited us into the conference room where the sport goods we sent ahead of time already waiting for our arrival.

As we sat down and explained our Follow Thru program to everyone, freshly squeezed sugarcane juices were served and we soon found out that the refreshing drink was one of the school product which teachers and students came up with in order to help raise fund for the school. The sugarcane was grown right at the school and we were invited on a tour of their sugarcane juice production too.

Too bad none of the students were allowed to come on that day because the school were used for conducting an exam for local officials the same time we were there.  Upon touring the campus, Mr. Chareonsorn told us that the school volleyball court was one of the best in the area. It was often used for national tournament by others too.

หลังจากเราออกจากโรงเรียนบ้านหนองไผ่ดุสิตประชาสรรค์ เราขับรถกันอีกประมาณชั่วโมงครึ่งเพื่อมาที่โรงเรียนแห่งที่สามของเรานั้นคือ โรงเรียนบ้านภูดิน (มิตรผลอุปถัมภ์) ตั้งอยู่ที่อำเภอภูเขียว จังหวัดชัยภูมิ โดยได้รับการต้อนรับจากคณะผู้บริหารของทางโรงเรียน นำโดยท่านผู้อำนวยการ คุณครูเจริญสร บุญสุขาอัครพงษ์ ที่ได้ให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น ผมและทีมงานได้เข้าร่วมพูดคุยกับคณะครูเพื่อเล่าถึงที่มาที่ไปของโครงการของเรา นอกจากจะได้ทำความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับโรงเรียนแล้วทางคณะครูยังได้ให้พวกเราได้ลองชิมน้ำอ้อยคั้นสดที่ทางคณะครูและนักเรียนร่วมกันคิดค้นเพื่อจัดจำหน่ายขายให้เป็นรายได้ของโรงเรียน และเป็นการสอนให้นักเรียนรู้จักการผลิตของขาย อีกทั้งทางโรงเรียนยังได้ปลูกต้นอ้อยเองในพื้นที่โรงเรียนอีกด้วย

แม้จะไม่ได้เจอกับนักเรียนเพราะเป็นวันเสาร์และเนื่องจากทางมีหน่วยงานราชการใช้สถานที่โรงเรียนเป็นสถานที่ทดสอบ แต่พวกเราก็ได้รับความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรงเรียนมากมายโดยเฉพาะด้านการกีฬาที่โรงเรียนให้การสนับสนุนอย่างเต็มที่ เราเลยทราบว่าโรงเรียนบ้านภูดินนี้มีสนามแข่งวอลเล่บอลที่ได้มาตราฐานที่สุดในอำเภอนี้ จนทำให้หลายๆแห่งขอให้สนามของโรงเรียนเป็นที่แข่งวอลเล่บอลในรายการสำคัญๆอยู่ตลอดเวลา
